Mobile and TV Streaming Technologies
There are several issues to deal with when streaming over the Internet, including network bandwidth and device processor performance. Here are some tips that may improve your viewing experience:
Choosing a bitrate of 300 kbps or higher may cause the player to stop or produce low framerates. Bitrates around 200 kbps are optimal for most phones.
When using an adaptive protocol, you will offer several bitrates at different video qualities and allow devices to choose the optimal stream depending on the network bandwidth available at a given moment.
If you choose to stream using the HTTP Live Streaming protocol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Live_Streaming) and include an available stream of at least 64 kbps, let us know. We will add your TV channel in HTTP Live Streaming in all available platforms. Your TV channel will be broadcasted in each platform with the available stream.
